My children and the end of my experiment. I looked at the under a microscope but I couldn't take any picture of it from under the microscope.
I made 6 of them, and I sprayed 3 of them with the same bottle of 30 SPF sunscreen and left them to live in the sun. I would put them in the incubator overnight and leave them in the sun during the day, at first in my biology teacher's room and then in my math teacher's room.
They all dried up and died because I didn't know taking the lid off the petri dish and exposing them to the air kills them. I also used a combination of spray and cream sunscreen instead of only spray.
The first batch of bacteria didn't work out so well, but here is a picture of the second batch just chillin in my backyard for the expirement.
My project is testing whether or not UV rays affect bacteria growth, whether it hinders the growth or improves it.
